FUZE Foundation

What is the Fuze Foundation

We are a not-for-profit organisation established 2012 with 3 key purposes:

  1. To promote equality and diversity in society by providing solemn and dignified Humanist Marriage and Funeral Ceremonies to those who share ethical Humanists beliefs.

  2. To promote religious and racial harmony by providing Funeral Ceremonies for everyone, regardless of race, belief or religion. Our Funeral Ceremonies may contain religious rituals and beliefs as the Foundation aims to meet the needs and interests of the community at large.  We want to meet the need of the public at times of grief and promote religious harmony by being respectful, work in harmony with people of different beliefs.

  3. To assist with the real issues around funeral affordability.  We are actively campaigning and working on behalf of families to address the issues they face.  We want to do something practical and offer struggling families Funeral Ceremonies (Celebrants only) at no cost to them.  Our ultimate aim is to raise enough money to offer to pay all the funeral expenses.  We are also working with other social enterprises to be able to advise on low cost alternative funerals and memorial ceremonies.

All Fuze Celebrants are registered with The Fuze Foundation, we do not profit from Humanist Marriage Ceremonies and while we have the funds are offering Funeral Ceremonies at no cost to those suffering financial hardship.  Being married by Fuze means you are supporting The Fuze Foundation.

Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds for CHAS (The Children’s hospice)Break through breast cancer and Lochaber Hope just to name a few. By choosing to have your ceremony with us, you will help us with our continued support of charities like these and to provide Ceremonies for those in need.
